Product Listing Notice
This page describes sourcing capability, not import approval. Eligibility depends on the exact product, specification, model, manufacturer, intended use, proposed HS classification, destination and current law. Prohibited, unlawful and counterfeit goods are not accepted. Restricted or regulated products require case review before sourcing, purchase or shipment.
Core Strengths and High Demand Categories.
Four categories we run deepest in, and six we source at volume. Each card opens the directory filtered to that sector.
High Demand Sourcing Sectors
Where a product sits before we quote
These four statuses describe the position of a product under Indian import rules. They are separate from the three commercial review routes further down this page, which describe how we handle the enquiry internally.
Not Accepted
Prohibited, unlawful, counterfeit, pirated, replica or unauthorised branded goods. False declarations. Concealed dangerous goods. Goods excluded by LCL policy.
Restricted
Considered only after the required licence or written authorisation route, applicant eligibility, permitted end use and documents are established.
Regulated
Considered only after the applicable certification, registration, testing, labelling, NOC or specialist route is identified for the exact product.
General Review
Exact-product and HS-policy review is still required. A category listing does not confirm importability.
195 Categories. Three Review Routes.
Open a route to see the industry families inside it, then open a family for the categories it covers. Send any row straight to our sourcing team.
195 categories available
Generally straightforward commercial goods, still subject to exact product, labelling, material, HS code and import policy review.
May require review involving BIS, CRS, QCOs, WPC/DoT, BEE, CDSCO, FSSAI, Legal Metrology, battery or dangerous goods requirements, labelling rules, another authority, or destination specific requirements. Inclusion does not mean LCL guarantees approval. Exclusion does not mean a product is regulation free.
Custom, large scale, uncommon, high specification, multi category, oversized or feasibility led requirements reviewed individually. Regulatory flags still apply where relevant.
Route blocks are indicative first review routes, not legal classifications, import approvals or guarantees. Regulated Review means the product may need review by one or more authorities before a route can be confirmed.

The directory is a starting point, not a limit. Sourcing, supplier verification, sampling, compliance review, consolidation and delivery are coordinated against the same requirement, whatever its size.

How we review a product enquiry
This policy explains how LCL reviews product enquiries, and when an enquiry may proceed, require documents, be referred for specialist review or be declined. Product rules depend on the exact specification, proposed HS classification, intended use, manufacturer, destination and date. This is therefore a review framework, not a fixed list of approved products.
Not accepted
LCL will not knowingly source, purchase, consolidate, store, arrange carriage for, clear or facilitate goods prohibited by law or excluded under LCL policy. This includes counterfeit, pirated, replica or unauthorised branded goods. False descriptions, documents, values, origin or HS classifications. Concealed dangerous goods. Controlled drugs or narcotics. Weapons, ammunition or explosives. Unlawful jamming or interception equipment. Prohibited waste. Illegal or obscene material. Prohibited wildlife-linked products. And other unlawful goods, or goods carrying unacceptable legal, sanctions, safety, intellectual-property, environmental or carrier risk. These examples are not exhaustive.
Restricted products
Products classified as restricted under current DGFT policy or another applicable law are considered only after the required licence or written authorisation route, applicant eligibility, permitted end use and supporting documents are established. No purchase, order confirmation or dispatch should proceed until LCL accepts the exact scope in writing. LCL may decline restricted-product work before accepting a binding order.
Regulated products
Some products may be importable only after certification, registration, testing, licensing, an NOC, prescribed labelling, EPR registration, quarantine clearance, end-use conditions or another requirement. Depending on the exact product this may involve BIS under the applicable scheme or Quality Control Order, WPC/DoT, TEC/MTCTE, CDSCO, FSSAI, BEE, Legal Metrology, CPCB EPR, quarantine, PESO or another competent authority. LCL may coordinate document collection or specialist support where expressly agreed, but does not issue or guarantee approval.
No evasion or workaround
LCL will not accept instructions to hide or alter the product identity, brand, model, composition, ingredients, battery, wireless function, intended use, quantity, value, country of origin or proposed HS classification in order to avoid duty, restriction, certification, licensing, labelling, inspection or carrier requirements.
Information we need from you
The customer must provide complete and accurate product details, including images, specification, model, materials or ingredients, electrical and wireless details, battery information, brand status, manufacturer, quantity, value, packaging, destination and available certificates or licences. LCL may pause or decline a review until sufficient information is received.
Authority decisions and changes
A review applies only to the specification and facts stated. Any change may require a fresh review. Laws, notifications, standards and authority practices can change. Customs and other competent authorities make the final decisions on classification, valuation, inspection, approval, detention and release.
Other destinations
Indian requirements apply to India-bound enquiries. For another destination, separate local laws, standards, licences, labels and importer obligations apply. A review for India is not an approval for another country.
This policy sits alongside our Terms and Conditions, Disclaimer and Privacy Policy. Where they differ on a point, the accepted written quotation and the Terms govern.
